An energy healing exercise for your dog that you can do yourself
Today, I want to describe an exercise on how to do energy healing with your dog. If you’re new to my site, it’s good to know that this is the third in a series of three articles. Go back and read the other two. They will prime you to practice energy healing on your dog. Work on the other exercises for about a week each before you go on to this one. It will help you feel the energy better. It will be more productive when you start working on your own dog.
Now this technique is very easy, you can do this anytime with your dog. This is a great way to start with energy healing. It’s also great for balancing and clearing the body’s energy. If your household will change soon and you want to tell and prepare your dog, or if your dog has a lot of scattered or frantic energy, this exercise can help settle and calm them. It’s a really great technique to use for many purposes, and it’s really simple to do and really simple to learn.
The steps of the energy healing session on your dog
Start by rubbing your hands together to open the chakras on them and to activate your energy. Then, make sure you can feel the energy between your hands. Once you’ve done that, you’re going to put one hand on your dog’s heart chakra. It’s in the chest between their front legs, about where you would expect the heart to be. One hand will go there. Your other hand will go to the back of the throat chakra. It’s at the base of the neck, right above where you feel their shoulder blades meet. Once you’ve found those two spots, put one hand on the heart chakra and one hand on the back of the throat chakra. Then, you hold.
When I was starting, I found it was easier with my eyes closed. I could focus on what I was doing. So, try with your eyes closed. Then, try with your eyes open and see which way makes it easier to feel the energy. You’re just going to hold. You’ll feel the energy between your hands. At a certain point, you’ll feel a connection between your hands. It’s a bridge from the throat chakra to the heart chakra. You will feel this vibration getting stronger. It will feel like a pulse or a temperature change. Just keep holding. While you hold, your eyes are closed and you’re focused. You want to make sure your intention is right. Make sure you’re not thinking about something else. Don’t make shopping lists or plan your next move. Just focus your mind on what you want.
Let the energy flow where needed
Ideally, you want energy to flow in the body where it needs to go. Don’t project what you want to change in your dog. Just intend that the energy will flow where it needs to go for complete balancing. Continue this for a while, you can do this for up to 20-30 minutes, but do it at least for five minutes and just keep holding. At a point, the energy will fade and soften. It will go away. Then, you know the work is done. At that point, you can detach by opening your eyes. Say your intention. The energy will keep flowing to where it needs to. Then, remove your hands.
What happens after is that you are helping to unblock the energy, and then it starts to flow in the body. Once it starts moving, our work is done, the energy continues to flow. You might see changes in your dog over the next 24 to 48 hours, it’s not necessarily instant. The energy keeps working. So, don’t do this daily. Let the energy work after you’re done. You can do this once or twice a week and then let the energy work how it’s supposed to, let your dog heal himself. Remember that you’re just facilitating the healing.
Go ahead and start practicing on your dog. It’s the start of the healing journey. It’s a great way to be close to your dog.
